🖇️ Hostaway and Booking.com Integration

We have added integrations (via iCAL) for both of these platforms. Note: Hostaway is a PMS (property management system) so you can either add a PMS (Hostaway) or multiple channels (Booking, VRBO, Airbnb, TripAdvisor). This is to prevent duplicates.

How to access: Simply go to Import Calendar tab under a specific Property.


🧘‍♂️ Simplified Pro Assignment Experience

Hosts no longer have to “add pros to a property” in order to assign them to a property.  You can directly assign a pro to property (as long as you have invited them to your team)

How to access:  Go to the Job Automation tab under a specific property and click Assign pro or Change pro.


🎮 Full Control of Auto Assignment Logic

As a host, when you are reassigning a pro to a property, you can choose how you want existing jobs to be handled:  reassign existing jobs to the new pro or assign newly created jobs to the new pro.  This way you’re in full control should you need to change your pro.

How to access:  Go to the Job Automation tab under a specific property and click Change pro and follow the newly added prompts.


🔔 Notification for New Jobs

Hosts will be notified by email when a new job is automatically created by the system upon syncing calendars.

How to access:  Nothing to do!  However, it can be turned off from your notification settings.


🚀 Additional Features

  • Hosts can now “force sync” their calendars. This is helpful in case you see any discrepancy in Jobs. You can access this under the Import Calendar tab for a specific property.
  • Hosts are now provided with a shortcut link to make payment to the pro in iOS and Android apps (the link will open in your browser).

🐞 Bug Fixes

  • Duplicate jobs were being created sporadically when syncing VRBO calendar. This is now fixed.
  • Same day flip was not marked correctly at times. This is now fixed. However, if you’re still seeing this issue please email help@automatebnb.com
